- Dana Point Trolley: Use the trolley system, but remember it stops running at 8:30 PM. Visit http:// bit.ly/DP_Trolley for hours of operation and route information.
- Parking: Park in legal spaces only.
- Doheny State Beach Access: A line forms overnight so planning ahead is important. Please be courteous of others and do not cut in line. The City and State Parks staff will be sure to get you into the State Park quickly when the Park opens (subject to space availability).
- Scenic Drive Closure: Scenic Drive will be closed

Tips for Keeping Your Pets Safe and Calm During Fireworks:
-
Keep pets indoors during fireworks displays, ideally in a quiet, secure room where they feel safe.
-
Close windows and curtains to help muffle the sound and block out bright flashes of light.
-
Play calming music or white noise to reduce the impact of loud noises or watch an action movies to drown out the booms!
-
Ensure your pet is microchipped and wearing an ID tag in case they get scared and escape.
-
Create a cozy space or safe zone with familiar blankets, toys, or their crate where they can retreat.
-
Stay calm and act normally—your pet will take cues from your behavior.
-
Avoid taking pets to fireworks events or leaving them outside unattended.
-
Consider calming aids such as anxiety vests, pheromone diffusers, or consult your vet about natural or medical options if your pet is especially anxious.
